This place is unreal. Great food, generous portions and super friendly service. No reason to go anywhere else in FF county.
Best middle eastern restaurant! The food is authentic and delicious. The service is excellent and it’s a very friendly atmosphere. The owners are wonderful and genuine and truly try to make your visit an enjoyable one. I definitely would recommend this to anyone! Love safita!!
AWESOME FOOD!. I really loved the food at Safita. Nice atmosphere and great service. The chefs are excellent and friendly. They took the time to come to our table and say hello which I thought was very sincere. I would recomend Safita to anyone and everyone I know. Trust me its worth it!
Love this place!. At last! A great Middle Eastern restaurant in downtown Fairfield! We loved the cozy atmosphere with all the authentic touches. The service was friendly, and the food was fantastic. For starters, we highly recomend the fattoush salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, sumac, olive oil, lemon, pomegranate juice and pita chips — a fabulous combination of flavors (we ordered the small size, and it was plenty big for sharing). We also really liked the vegetarian kibbeh, stuffed with spinach and covered in a tasty, spicy sauce. The cheese fatayer were lovely too — delicious, freshly baked dough wrapped around soft, warm syrian cheeses with sesame seeds on top.Two of us split the mixed grill — tender, moist chunks of chicken, lamb and kefta kebab with vegetables and rice. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. This is a great combination at a good price ($26).This is a family-owned place. The mom does the cooking and the son runs the business. They don’t have their liquor license yet, so you can bring your own wine. They also don’t take reservations, and it’s a small place, so get there early if you don’t want to wait for a table. There’s a cute little waiting area, but still we saw lots of people deciding not to stay when they learned how long the wait would be. I felt bad for them, because they were missing out on a really wonderful meal.
