Terrible Service. Never have been to a place that has shown such disrespect for its customers. The waiters there were exceptionally rude. Great food, but I will never go back because of such bad service. I have talked to multiple people around town who say the service is disrespectful and rude.
Despite a somewhat average outside appearance the food is amazing. I had chicken satay to start and then a large selection of sushi and sashimi. Chicken was a little dry but the sushi and sashimi were fantastic. Super fresh, very well presented and very tasty. Interesting take on Mojito’s too. Some of the wait staff were Cantonese and I had worked in Hong Kong many years before so we had better than usual service. I am certainly going back.
Wild Rice is a small place on the post road in fairfield. Despite its lack luster outdoor appearance, it has a very romantic atmosphere. The sushi is very fresh and beautifully prepared. Its guaranteed to impress even the most seasoned sushi eaters. the dishes are very fairly priced and include a generous portion. The wait staff are not very friendly or outgoing, however they make up for that with quick service. All in all, Wild Rice is a very good restaurant and its worth going back to.
