Horrible service!!! Food average. My margarita was awful. After a few sips I asked for a beer instead. When the bill came the bartender gave me a hard time about taking the margarita off of the check. Don’t waste your time or your money.

AVOID AT ALL COST. I’m giving this restaurant a one star rating only because Yelp won’t allow me give a negative star rating.I, along with my daughter and vegetarian son-in-law, decided to try this place based upon the reviews found on Yelp. The service was the worst I’ve ever experienced at any establishment. We waited 20 minutes before anyone, including the OWNER (who was able to visit ever other table, OTHER than ours), even stopped at our table to see if we’d been helped. The waiter, who never introduced himself, finally took our drink AND food order together and it took another 45 minutes before our food arrived, even though 3 other patrons that had been seated after us received their meals, paid and left. To add insult to injury, the vegetarian burrito was served to my son-in-law with chicken. The waiter proceeded to argue with us that there was no chicken in the burrito, even after it was pointed out to him. It took my flagging down the owner to get the situation remedied, and although the second attempt arrived within 15 minutes, it tasted rancid. My chicken mole’, was nothing more than over cooked, rubberized chicken swimming in a peanut butter sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds. The refried beans and rice tasted of rancid peanuts. The avocado tostada (a side dish) was ok, but we were charged $12 for a very small plate. Our waiter became non-existent after that. I literally had to stand up from our table in order to get our check, which was over $70. We were over charged for drinks, things that had been ordered, which were not served had been charged to us as well.Just to add the cherry on top of this really horrible experience, when I finally got the check, the waiter didn’t even bother to leave a pen for me to use to sign the receipt, even though he had two in his hand when he handed me the check.I have worked in restaurants and understand the problems of being under staffed, however, this went far beyond a mere front of house staffing situation. The food was horrible, the service was atrocious and the prices were WAY TOO high for the experience. I highly recommend to anyone looking for Mexican food to go anywhere other than Jalisco. As I sit here writing this review, I am having serious gastric distress, and fervently hope not to experience the food again tonight.

I drove by over 100 times, and never stoped before. Now I regret not stopping sooner! A bowl of house soup is a great tell tale of the food to come. The tortilla soup was out of this world. Served in a giant bowl filled with fresh ingredents. Plates are big and full of big flavor. Friendly helpful staff. AND the live music was not what we expected, a fun surprise you want to check out!

What a great find. Traveling home from Rhode Island to Albany. Found it on one of my Iphone apps. Kickin’ salsa! Eric our waiter was awesome. The food is great. And the price was more than reasonable. Can’t wait to go to RI again so I can come back!

This Place is AWESOME!!!!. I first discovered this incredible little restaurant a couple years ago and it quickly became my favorite. The menu is extensive and is sure to please even the pickiest eaters (myself included!) They also have a variety of vegetarian dishes. Jalisco’s is owned by one of the nicest families and they really know how to make you feel at home. Julian can usually be found behind the bar, talking to customers about his favorite subject, tequila (they have over 100 bottles!) There is also live music Friday and Saturday night. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a good time (and an excellent margarita!)

I have been told that fish taco are a delicious form of taco and yet I had never found a taco fill with fish that I really enjoyed. That is till I had dinner at jalisco. I often try the fish tacos at a Mexican restaurant hoping to find what everyone else is enjoying and most of the time I am disappointed. This was not the case at Jalisco. Not only were the staff friendly and quick to serve but the food was fantastic! Never have I had a fish taco that tasted as good as everyone told they were. Thank you Jalisco for treating me to the best fish taco in town. I have made myself hungry writing this. I think I may get a fish taco for lunch. Or three. 🙂

Great food at a great price. Menu includes several interesting seafood dishes as well as standard Mezican fare. Family owned resturant where staff is friendly .
