We frequently eat here. Food is consistently good. Service is usually attentive, can be a little slow in the hibachi area but you’d expect that. The only true negative of this place is the location – parking is very difficult and there is a nightclub upstairs.
I usually go to the Sakura Garden in South Windsor and decoded to try out the one in Glastonbury. The sushi was very good, the pad thai was not good. The service was the worst I’ve ever experienced, very rude waitress. Made me feel belittled and embarrassed in front of my guests. I will never return. My advice, Go to the Sakura Garden in South Windsor.
I’ve enjoyed meals here many times – but during a recent visit I was taken aback at how a Hibachi chef was treating the only woman in the party – he was very rude to her
Very nice atmosphere. Sushi was great and many places could learn service from this staff. Kid friendly which is important if your kids like sushi as much as the parents!
Delicious!. Awesome shrimp tempura rolls!!!!!!!
Great Japanese Food!. Great shrimp and chicken hibachi. Wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly service.03 May, 2010Great Japanese Cuisine. Excellent Japanese cuisine! We had the chicken and shrimp habachi. Our chef was excellent and very interactive. The steamed dumpling appetizer was as good as I’ve had in New York and Boston. The atmosphere is very modern and inviting. Although I had habachi, the main menu looked excellent too. Next time you’re in Glastonbury, stop by Sakura Garden for dinner. It’s got something for everyone!
Great happy hour with fabulous prices. Sushi always good.
