  Every time I order pizza from here the older man somehow gets the order wrong. Expensive pizza that is never how I asked for it.

  Stopped in and had Stromboli for $3 absolutely delicious friendly service beautiful menuseverything is priced really well

  Best Italian food outside of Italy. My mother is married to a VERY particular first-generation Italian-American (who grew up in CT, incidentally), and she says the food we ate at Giovanni’s is the best Italian food she has had outside of Italy, and she will definitely bring her husband here the next time they visit. // The food is fantastic, fresh and locally sourced. We had an arugula salad that was so fresh and crisp. I had scallops, which can be like rubbery pencil erasers if they are not good, but these were perfect, like butter melting in my mouth. // The owner and wait staff were all very friendly, accommodating, and warm. We didn’t feel rushed or hovered over, nor neglected. // My only suggestions: go at lunch – the food is the same, but half the price as at dinner, and go sit down in the Ristorante part instead of going to the take-out side.

  The pizza wasn’t that great and the restaurant staff looked like a bunch of bachelors running the place. Their food in the glass display was full of storage trays half hazardly thrown in there. I don’t think this is a place I would try again 🙁
