Very disappointing. I ordered the french dip platter. Bread was stale. Flavorless meat. Au jous was salty and gross. Had to wait 10min for it too bc waitress forgot. Hate when diners serve soda in juice glasses and charge you for another my lemon was bigger than the glass. Waitress a bit inattentive and rude. Low quality diner. Too expensive for what you get
Good price, good quality. The Hamden Town House is in a former Howard Johnson’s restaurant, but with diner prices. I never cease to marvel at the number of items on the menu! The cashier ALWAYS asks you if everything was all right (and it always is).The Town House is one of my regular spots. Just look at the business they do and you’ll know they are doing something right.
