Sunday Brunch on 4/15/2012. Not necessarily like the inside, but like to sit outside.Apparently restaurant has new management and I like it.Had the best grilled cheese on brioche, with asparagus and a saladthe other person had eggs benedict with fruit, bill was $22.00 plus tax.They have nice, healthy and different food on the menu.It has become one of my favorites in the area now
Food is good, yet pricey, great service. We dine here whenever we are in the area and always enjoy the food. I do think it is a bit overpriced, though. We dine in Manhattan frequently and the prices are reflective of that if not more. I see that seems to be the complaint amongst reviewers. I think for a local neighborhood tavern the prices should be well below what they are. At any rate, the food is delicious. My wife and I were there last Tuesday and split the arugala salad, Crab Sole and the Cappelini dish as well as Cheesecake and Chocolate cake for dessert. Everything tasted fantastic. Our waitress, I think her name was Karen, we have had before was very attentive and very nice. The decor and interior of the place was done very nicely and is enviting. No complaints except cost, I think we would frequent more if we could afford it on a more normal occasion.
Great food, my girlfriend loves this place, but they really need to take care if the mosquito problem on their patio! Otherwise great.
Food good but portions too small. We usually hit this spot about once every six weeks since summer of 2010. never had a problem with the food other than the portions leave you still hungry when leaving. prices are on the high side for so little food. we have had the lobster rolls and a few fish dishes– all very good but even the side dishes are meager. i once got a fish dish with a side or about 6 green beans–PLEASE!!! we wish this restaurant would just add about 10 -15 percent more food to their plates and we would go more often
Great Atmosphere. Really enjoyed the laid back tavern feel in the pub. Great decorations and layout and not too crowded for happy hour on a thursday. Great food (fresh cut fries and a perfectly cooked burger). Only complaint would be the prices- beers are a little pricey as is the food. I would’ve expected better pricing.
Standard american fare, excellent steamed muscles and good smoked fish plate. Priced about 20% on the high side.

I went to CT a couple of weeks ago to visit some family/friends and we went to Park Central one night — they insisted! It was an amazing atmosphere and the staff was extremely friendly.The calamari was delightful and the butternut squash soup was the best I have ever had. Everyone in the restaurant and bar area seemed to be having a great dinner/overall experience.If you travel to Hamden, it’s a must-eat kind of place! Enjoy!
