Great food, great people. The food in here is wonderful with a wide-ranging menu. They constantly have new specials which are always worth trying. The people are very friendly as well. Definitely give this place a chance, you’ll be happy you did!
Above and beyond. This very busy deli confused my takeout order with another; when I got home and discovered the mistake, I called them. They immediately knew what had happened and delivered the corrected order to my home–with a bonus brownie. We all make mistakes, but this family-run deli corrected theirs by going beyond the call of duty. The sandwich was delicious as well.
I disagree with other reviewers. I love the food and the people. I always find them helpful and cheery, if perhaps a little gruff. I prefer to see it as unpolished New England charm. Love the black bean soup, love the Philly, love the Irish rose.
The food seemed nice, and I’d like to try other things on their menu. I really didn’t find them friendly. I had time to kill a few times while my son was at the gym next door, but didn’t feel that comfortable hanging out there. Might try once more…
I agree with attitude problem. It’s as if they are all unhappy with their jobs. Who needs that? And their bread is very ordinary. Good sandwiches start with good bread. For all they make, a nice crusty loaf or baguette option would make their sandwiches stand out.
Love Richards!!! Great soups, salads and sandwiches. Best eggplant parmesan and the coleslaw is amazing! Everything is always fresh and high quality. I’ve also used them to cater family parties and business events to rave reviews.
Good Food but too much attitude. The food is really good. Having said that, dealing with these people can be a bit too much to take. They are snotty, rude and arrogant. Think of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. I kept going back because of the food but after seeing them ridicule an elderly man to his face I will never return.
