Three of us came here for dinner during the Taste of Hartford. Lobster bisque was outstanding. Calamari app was very old school Italian(great if you like that. Good for my wife, okay for myself.) Oso Bucco was outstanding. Ragu or duck confi was excellent. DISH house chocolate cream pie was out of this world.Service was fair, but once they realized their mistake, they did their best to make up for it.Use the valet parking. Even though Hartford Downtown has improved, parking is still a challenge.
This is a must do stop in Hartford. Not your normal chop house, Dish has a fair amount of originality on the menu. Don’t pass on the chicken – waffle sliders and while I did not sample the roasted beef ravioli looked wonderful. I enjoyed the 72 HR short ribs which came on a bed of mashed potatos and some mixed roasted veggies. But a flan made from calf bone marrow added the unexpected sizzle. Great wine list and service was great. Go and enjoy!

Hit or Miss. The resteraunt looks very nice and trendy inside but the food is hit or miss which sucks because it’s a really nice place. I’ve gone there for dinner at times and the food was great. (especially the chips and cheese fondue) I took my mom in law for mothers day brunch and the food was very dry and the food took a long time.
