Best Jerk Pork in CT. I’ve tried every Jamaican restaurant in CT that I can find and Island Cuisine surpasses all of them in terms of food quality. The place is a hole in the wall with no seating, but the staff is usually friendly. I have yet to try better Jerk Pork or plantains anywhere, however, and they’re Jerk Chicken, patties, Oxtail, white fish and rice and peas are all excellent. My only complaint is that they only serve Jerk Pork on the weekends.
