The meal I had here was completely unsatisfactory. I (unwisely) chose the lamb dinner and was amazed at how much the meat tasted like chicken. I still have no idea how the chef managed to rid it of all lamby tastes. I can’t help but wonder if it was in fact the dark meat of some tupe of poultry. I chose the butternut squash as one of my side dishes and it was evident that, despite it being the beginning of harvest season, the squash came from a box. The mint jelly that came with the dish; Jell-O. My favorite part of the meal was the baked potato, which, I suppose, is extremely hard to mess up. My mother found the spaghetti in her chicken parmesan squishy and barely ate half of it, saying the chicken was mediocre. My brother, however, said he liked his burger. My father didn’t mind his Patty Melt either. As for me, I am NOT going back here any time soon. The only truly good thing about this place was the staff, who were very nice and took care of us well. Don’t waste your time here! There are plenty of other cafes down the road that I’m sure are much better!!!
