This place is great. Friendly service and authentic Mexican food. If you’re tired of the same plastic three page menu of cheese smothered gringo style then you’ll be pleased with the thoughtful menu here. Ceviche, nopales (cactus) salad, Chipotle shrimp, some pork dish I can’t pronounce, real rotisserie style tacos and more. Looks like all good stuff. And yes you can get your burritos, fajitas and chimichangas and get it better than you’re used to I bet. I’d never had mole and had always wanted to try it so got Mole pablano con pollo. Was awesome. It looked like too much food when they brought it but I ate it all. Thinking about Mexican food? Do yourself a favor.

It’s not your typical basket-of-chips-and-salsa Mexican restaurant. The menu is somewhat limited, with contemporary takes on Mexican food as well as a few traditional favorites like enchiladas and burritos. But we almost never order off it because the specials are always so good. There are also daily specials on beer and margaritas. I’ve always enjoyed my meal and the service is prompt but not overbearing.

WORST EXCUSE FOR MEXICAN FOOD!!!!. This is the worst EXCUSE for a Mexican restaurant I have ever experienced!!! Upon entering, I was ignored! Then, the smokey greasy smell hit me, so thick, you could see it! The hostess was not friendly, almost snooty. The waitress was even worse! I ordered the tacos de pescado. When they came, they were not what the menu said they were. They were fried!! There was little to no Mahi Mahi, as I was told, it was loaded with onions, no cilantro, and doused in so much Valentina hot sauce, it was inedible!!! On the menu, it said tomatillo sauce, nit Valentine, it if the bottle!!! I love spicy Mexican food, but this was just disgusting!! It is so far from real Mexican food, is ridiculous!!! I complained and sent it back to the kitchen. There was NOT a Mexican owner, waiter, or waitress! It looked like a couple Latinos were assembling food, in the back, but they don’t have a clue how to cook Mexican food!!!! Don’t go there!!!!!
