A Great Place. Whenever I pass through Middletown, my place of choice is Brew Bakers. The food is amazing, never have had a bad experience. It seems that people love to write negative reviews, but believe me, all the possitive comments I have heard about this place, far outweigh these negative ones. The staf is so nice and helpful, the owner always says hello and is friendly and the food is always fantastic. I travel for business, internationally, and Brew Bakers is a little Europe in Middletown. They have great music, art and food. It’s a feel good place. To those of you who takek the time to write negative comments, take the time to go back and stay for lunch and I’m sure you’ll think it’s great.
We won’t serve you!. I live in Guilford. Grabbed a Dunkin Donuts coffee and drove to Middletown to catch a game. I went in to get a sandwich to go and they refused to take my order because I had a D & D coffee in hand. I was told it made them look bad by me waiting there with it in my hand. Go figure.
Great Bagels and Coffee. The bagels do run out sometimes though so if you’re picky and late you can be out of luck. The sandwiches are good but not really special.The coffee is always fresh and makes the stop worthwhile, even if all the good bagels are gone.
Go somewhere else. I’d like to support a local place, but the service here is very slow, especially for a quick breakfast place. The food is expensive, and not really worth eating.
Terrible Customer Service. I received the wrong sandwich. When I pointed it out to the staff there was no offer to replace it with the correct one.
Grumpy AM Barista Can’t Ruin My Bagel. There’s a blonde lady who works here in the a.m. who is always so grumpy that you just want to ask her what could possibly be the matter every single morning? However, the chocolate macademia coffee and toasted everything bagel with Brew Baker’s special, extra cheesy veggie cream cheese remind me that I should just keep my mouth shut so I can continue to enjoy these delicious morning goodies.
