5th and last time at this place. Wish I could have rated it a big fat ZERO because that’s what this place deserves and nothing more. We met another couple for dinner so we were a group of 4 fifty something year olds. Had a glass of wine while waiting for our table. Waiting was pretty quick compared to usual … 1/2 hour. Had another glass of wine with dinner. Not sure what the waitress’s problem was but she brought our check without asking if we wanted another round of drinks and without asking if we wanted dessert. Stunned with such poor service and not being ready to end our evening with friends, we decided to pay and go in the bar as my friend wanted dessert and I wanted another wine. Once at the bar, they told us that because we were in the dining room we couldn’t have any more drinks in the bar. What? I’ve never heard of anything so absurd! What kind of ridiculous rule is that! So I could have stayed in the bar and had six drinks … but because I went to the dining room for dinner I can’t have three? We left and will never go back. REALLY … Go anyplace else but this place!! Worst service I’ve ever experienced and their rudeness is beyond words.
Dinner last week at Coyote Blue will be my last! When we arrived we were told they would not seat us until our party of 6 arrived, 4 of us were there including my 82 year old mother. We were told we had to stand in the bar area even though 11 of the 12 tables were empty. They proceeded to seat 2 parties of 2 at their tables for 6. Guacamole was very salty and blended into a paste, may have been from a grocery store. It was asparagus festival. Ugly, my daughter ordered steak and asparagus. Pile of fried rice, pile of dried out over cooked steak on top, asparagus had been replaced by broccoli. Three orders of enchiladas were edible. Chicken asparagus quesadilla was overlooked to the point where it was almost impossible to bite through the tortilla. I had the soft tacos, gigantic potion of over spiced ground beef, tacos are not usually the largest serving in the table! Beans and rice were cold. Service was slow, they asked if we were ready to order then took 10 minutes to come back to our table. There were three servers and 10 tables, they did have time to stand in the kitchen talking however. 5 dinners, 2 appetizers, no drinks, $92! Bad overpriced food and poor service. I suggest you go down the road to Mama Roux! Everything Coyote Blue is not!

Fun place. Generous portions. Good prices. Sat at the bar, had a gargantuan Burrito Grande. I’m a good eater, but couldn’t finish it all. Don’t be afraid to ask for your favorite dish even if it isn’t on the menu. Place gets packed – a sign of consistent quality.
Food quality very low and too bland. Try on the boarder instead
The food and service was as enjoyable as the atmosphere and the margaritas were the strongest we have ever had. Great place to eat when you are in the mood for great Mexican food.
That was a great place. Ask for Janice she was the best!! 🙂
