Must try the bourbon teriyaki wings, the best I’ve had in CT. It’s a bar atmosphere but great beer selections.
The atmosphere in this restaurant was very pleasant, we just walked in from another town to eat after we heard from a friend of the good food that was served there. Everyone treated us like we were one of the every day patron of the pub. We were seated by a very polite and energetic hostess and waited on by Andrew w. Talk about a server with no personality. This is personally the worst server they have employed at this establishment. No eye contact, no smile, no concern on me nor my wife and her sister’s needs. We asked a neighboring table for ketchup because our server never came back after serving us to ask if we needed anything else. He was exceptionally rude when we finally got his attention. For every thing extra we asked him for he sighed, rolled his eyes or made funny noises as he was leaving. The only time he acted like he had a soul and all of a sudden a personality was when we were going to pay for the bill and he saw the amount of cash that we had. We were upset with the lack of service from our server and the apologetic bartender who wouldn’t get the manager nor give us his name. Q/A: Would I recommend anybody else to experience what I experienced? No.Q/A: Would I recommend any of my friends or anybody else to go to this establishment? Only to site see or get food on take out only, not to stay.Q/A: Would I recommend a future customer to ask for a manager of this establishment? No. Because bartenders that refuse to give their name or even get a manager when there’s a problem is very unprofessional.
Umm, not closed down.. Still as crowded as ever. Went in last Thursday at 8:30, fought through the crowd squished up against the bar, and was told it would be at least a half hour before we could get a table. Best pepper bombs around, deep fried, served with this orangy mango-ish dipping sauce that totally rocks. I like those chicken wings as well. French onion soup has traditionally been a crap shoot here, its either really good or too salty depending on which way the wind blows. There is so much stuff glued to the outside of the place that the sign is almost obscured, maybe thats why a previous poster thought the place was closed. Popular place!

Great food and fun. Love going there. In the summer the beach in the back is awesome. Not a beer drinker but those who are will love the selection.Always start with the friend pickles and move on from there.
Cool atmosphere but I thought it was vastly overrated.
Service at the bar was with an attitude as if we didn’t belong. They were out of many items on the menu. It wasn’t a clean place to be in. Food was not good, although I liked the sweet potato fries! I will not be back for food. Maybe a beer.
