Great food at a reasonable price
Great drinks from a great bartender. Went to Forbidden City…very nice place, sat at the bar and had a great bartender, she really knows her drinks. Food was soso, like last review.We had a bunch of apps. House salad was baby greens with an almost pear juice tasting viniagrette, no flavor…Crab cake was awesome, and had a spicy aoili dip, Special of Octopus over mustard greens was good, interesting flavor. Greens were pickled so it all carried that marinated flavor…Chicken satay was your norm with a good sauce and lastly the puff pastry with pork was not up my ally. It tasted like boneless spareribs from your local take out, chopped fine and put in pastry. No thanks…Over all it was good, a couple hit or miss dishes, but when you’re with great company, who cares?
