Not real BBQ. This may pass for customers who don’t know any better but I found this BBQ lacking. Brisket should be served in thick cuts, a visible smoke ring and a bark that tells you it’s been slow smoked BBQ. Joey C’s was paper thin which led me to believe that it was prepackaged brisket. It was full of fat and zero bark. The add cheese to the brisket for some reason and drown the beef a jar sauce. I ate half and wished I had a salad.

Culinary don,t. Pulled pork tasted like coffee and was stewed not barbecued and appetizers were tasteless. Yeah for gluten free but it should still taste good. Overall a waste of time money and felt dissatisfied.

Cute shirts, poor food. Had a great friendly server and the shirts were cute, but food was lacking.

Went today with a friend we each had the brisket sandwich with diff sauces and had the slaw on the side. Food was wonderful and service was terrific! Our waitress got a big tip and deserved every bit of it. I will deff go back!

Amazing place. They need to get more staff and nix the bartender waiting tables in the bar area, for real. Food is among the best around. Delicious!!!!!!

Good Food-service ??. Ate at Joey c’s. Babyback ribs pretty darn good, potatoes good. Rice wasnt hot and corn bread seemed stale. June 18, 2012 (Monday). Seemed like it started out as a slow night, then more people showed and they were possibly understaffed. Sat at the bar, so maybe that was the issue….just took to long in general.. BUT the food is good would probably get take out next time. Neat decor….just lacked something about the atmostphere….again it was a Monday night so who knows.

Joey c’ bbq Friendly service Good selection of tequila Beef brisket platter sliced too thin and a good amount of sauce. Worlds best scalloped potatoes very tasty but worlds best? A bit greasy on the cheeses. Potato salad has great flavor but had some potatoes that were not cooked thru. That was my first visit. Everyone was friendly, the decor was perfect and cozy. I will be back. Flavors were too good to pass up.
