I have tried their soups, sandwiches and the steak salad and so far, I’ve loved everything. I especially like the soups. I have those when I’m sick, I have them when I’m cold, I have them when I’m absolutely fine! I have always ordered to go, so I cannot comment on the dine-in service. My only problem with them has been that they sometimes forget to put in the bread with the soup – so I always check the bag before I leave.
Great Soups. I often can’t get enough of their soup, especially the lentil. I agree with some of the previous comments with regards to the sandwiches. I enjoy the Martha’s Vineyard, yet I have experienced tough chicken breast before.The 7 layer salad is always delicious.
Imagine being very hungry, picking up you lunch and biting into one of your favorite sandwiches. And then being totally dissappointed. I ordered a Denver on a wrap to go. Lettuce was soggy and gross. Barely any garlic aioli. And worst of all chicken that was like shoe leather. So tough I had to take it off because I wasn’t able to bite into it. So after I took the chicken off, then I took the lettuce off. All I was left was lettuce tasting aioli and bacon…. The bacon was crispy. That’s the only good thing I could say about the sanwich…. I used to go to liquid lunch frequently. More and more I have been underwhelmed by their chioicea of soup and there overall quality of a once stellar product… Hopefully the shelton locations are still top notch, but Milford what happened?!
I was a bit disappointed with today’s visit. They were very busy and took a long time to get my order ready. I was OK with the wait but disappointed with the sandwich. It was very cold on the inside even though they put it in panini grill. The outside wad crispy. They just didn’t leave it on the grill long enough, or the grill wasn’t hot enough. Either way, they only had the one grill going and it wasn’t enough for the amount of orders going through. Someone had a heavy hand with the spicy corn soup. I got mostly heat without a lot of flavor. Maybe it was just today. I’ve never had any issues in the Shelton store.
Milford location can’t handle saturday afternoon lunch. I have to say first off I am a big fan of Liquid Lunch and have been to 2 locations many times.We stopped into the Milford location for lunch this afternoon about 1:30-2pm. It was crowded. The staff was working hard! They couldn’t handle the crowd. We had to do takeout because there was no where to dine in. We ate in the car. I took one bite of my sandwich and it was ice cold. It must have been on the panini maker all of one minute just to toast the bread. The carmelized onions were ice cold also. The sandwich had great flavor but being cold totally turned me off. They need more panini makers so the sandwiches can stay on longer and properly come to temperature.
