Awful Attitude, Very Pricey. This place just doesn’t fit in New Canaan; maitre d’ is one of those open shirt/chest hair/gold chain types; that wouldn’t bother me at all in and of itself but his incredible rudeness, that’s another story. BAD attitude. Waiters aren’t much better. Food’s actually not bad but life’s too short to deal with jerks like this, especially in a lousy economy where many other restaurants are so hungry for your business and will do anything to please. Never again for us as well as a large of our friends who all feel the same way.
Sole. Great ambience especially when you eat at the bar. Good food… my fav’s are tre-colore salad and pasta bolognese. Pasta’s always just the right al dente. Also the tre-colore as a main dish topped with steak is yummy.
Needs an attitude adjustment. Good food, nice decor, swell buzz, nice location.We’re happy to be there, could you be a little more welcoming? Not act like all these customers showing up are some sort of inconvenience? If you act like you are glad we chose Sole, we will be, too.
Best lunch special around. $14 for app and entree. Add $6 for a glass of wine.
Not worth the price. Food lacked sparkle and was bland.
Great Lunch Place. Having lunch here is a very nice experience. the food is good. but may be loud at times but besides that an overall positive review.
