This restaurant was really good. We had way too much food but it was good. Appetizers were not that great. Love how they served the butter with a popover. The service was friendly. We were here with a large group but they still served my steak the way I asked. Overall very nice.
This is a great steak house and had many meals here. The best is the Cesar Salad. They come over to the table, make the dressing with fresh ingredients and toss it with the romaine lettuce. The fish is also very good! I haven’t really had a bad meal. However, this palace is very expensive!!!
Great Service Excellent Food. My wife and I originally at reservations at another venue. However, after tasting a sample and talking with the host we switched out reservations. The food was spectacular! Best steak I have ever had and the service was just as good. I would recommend this place to everyone! Me and my wife will be back!!
Excellent!. After three nights of eating at various ho hum Foxwood restaurants, dining at David Burke was a welcome treat! Excellent waitress – very attentive, personable, professional and extremely well versed on their wines. Prime rib was delicious as was caesar salad. French fries were so-so but whipped potatoes excellent. Don’t eat too much the day you go so you can enjoy the overload of food. All the staff were attentive and professional (though hostess could use some training). Looking forward to our next dinner there!
Steak and Service Done Well. Located on the restaurant floor of the Grand Pequot Tower, David Burke Prime is a cows’ nightmare. Most of the chairs are leather and designed to look like cow patterns. There is a two floor wine tower that cannot be missed and contains some of the most expensive wines in the world. Fear not as the restaurant also has some reasonably priced wines as well. There is a variety of steaks on the menu depending upon your tastes and financial situation. A hot popover roll and a classic French onion soup was a great way to start the meal. The layer of cheese, caramelized onions and the onion broth came together wonderfully without too much of a salty taste. For main course, went with the 18oz 30 day Kentucky Rib eye, it came out with a bloody rare middle where the order was medium. That was sent back to be cooked some more and what came back was a crispy outside and a soft, medium inside. Perfect! The potato grataine is baked layers upon layers of thinly sliced potatoes and cheese. Great for share.
Very overpriced, mediocre at best for food and unfriendly staff. Save your cash and try another restaurant.
Not impressed. The steak is good, but not great. The tuna sashimi appetizer was bland and the worst I’ve eaten. My wife ordered the surf and turf that had a bland filet and overcooked lobster. The service was mediocre. If your want a really good steak and are willing to spend this kind of money; go to Micheal Jordan’s. The food and service is much better there.
