Ford’s Lobster is located right by the sea which gives a mesmerizing view if you get to sit outside. The ambience had a homey feel and even our server was a friendly lady. Nothing better to as for from the service. The food is expensive; but as fresh as it can get. We ordered Lobster Ruben Sandwich and Fish ‘n’ Chips along with a Clamp Chowder soup. The fish was really fresh as if it was melting in your mouth as soon as you eat it. Lobster sandwich was fresh too. Both the dishes were served with Coleslaw and Fries.

While it is somewhat pricey it is definitely worth going. The lobster rolls, Littleneck clams, and the chowder (NE) are perfectly made. You do have to BYOB but there’s a package store around the corner for your convenience. Also you can park behind the Package store if there’s no parking.
Good food, but not worth being completely ignored when you go there. Waited 10 minutes at the ‘please wait to be seated’ sign & were completely ignored. Had to grab a member of the staff when they went to find someone else who’s table was ready & asked if we could put our name in. The response? ‘You could, but the wait is long and it’s unlikely that you’ll be seated before we close.’ Not exactly the best way to treat people who want to eat at your restaurant. We got similarly ignored when we went to pick lobsters from their lobster pound awile back. My suggestion, skip this place and go a short way up the street to Abbotts. They don’t ignore you there…
