Great Service. Behind a large glass window in the Grand Paquin hotel is a really good Asian restaurant. Golden Dragons serves a good cross section of mainland Asian foods. Hot and Sour soup was peppery but the thin broth lacked the typical sourness. Har Gau or shrimp dumplings were steamed to perfection with the dough a little chewy to go with the soft interior. Lotus Spring Rolls were crispy but not greasy. General Tso’s Chicken had a nice, rich sauce and the shrimp was soft and delicious when served in place of scallops. Their unusual Lo Mein featured all sorts of vegetables that you would not normally associate Lo Mein with as well as a soy based sauce. The waiter was very outgoing, funny and attentive. He kept filling our half empty glasses of water and kept checking on us. The restaurant was very clean, even at 10 pm at night. The prices were high but what would you expect in Foxwoods. Great experience overall, just no reservations
