Strangers GO AWAY!!!. Loved the quaint pub atmosphere…but this is DEFINITELY a local yokel place. Sat down on a hot August afternoon with my husband…waited 5 minutes for someone to check on us, and wasn’t so much as acknowledged by the barmaid (who was busy holding court with her regulars.) All the guys at the bar turned around and gave us the stink eye too! I was the only woman in the place, besides the barmaid. Felt very unwelcome, so we summarily left. I am sure it’s a nice place if you’re one of the bar flies who hangs out there….but visitors stay away!
