Look Elsewhere. From the chilly, impersonal greeting at the gray and characterless entrance to the haphazardly served food, everything about our visit was sub-par and not worth the price. The dining room is bare, barren of any art or color on the walls, just a narrow room filled with furniture, and although the menu sounds good enough, only two of our five entrees were even edible. Our wine order was placed and promptly forgotten until long after the food had been delivered. My stuffed veal was tough and rubbery, and one member of our party had to return his fish since it smelled strongly of ammonia. My spouse’s salmon was slathered in pre-packaged hollandaise sauce, flavorless and gummy. We’re not hard to please, honestly. But when I’m laying out close to $300 for dinner for five people I expect the food to be edible.
