  What a find! This is a small sandwich soup and salad joint with a couple of indoor tables and a few outdoor tables. Counter service and takeout only. It has an industrial look consistent with being a sandwich shop in the back of a commercial building. It’s behind a clam shack so is a bit tough to find. The locals all know where it is and for good reason: Good eats at good prices. Actually excellent eats. The soups (a few choices that change regularly) and made to order sandwiches are excellent. Salads are made to order right in front of you Prices are very reasonable. So so much better a place to grab an excellent quick lunch than any of the touristy restaurants in town. I’ll be back. BTW, it’s only a couple blocks from Mystic Seaport and right on the water (kind of…no great views but open air and the river close by).

  Mystic Soup Co.!. Hidden behind some sort of unappealing tire shop, you’ll eventually find a place that looks an awful lot like a factory door to a brick shop. Once you do, and you park, walk by the water and don’t be afraid to enter; this is Mystic Soup. This town has a goldmine in the form of soup and sandwiches; Paninis to be more acurate.The menu will excite you to the point of certain indecisiveness, and the flavors will excite you to come back and try more. If only I lived in the area this would be my local lunch spot, daily. No complaints about this small hidden gem in Mystic. An absolute must when craving some fantastic eats in this area. Absolutely a Mystic favorite!

  Best soup anywhere AND their chicken sandwich buck buck is the best sandwich I’ve ever had!
