Service is bad and prices are just as bad for the quantity and quality of food. They have minimal overheads at that establishment and prices really shouldn’t be that high.

First things first, if you’re looking for quick in and out breakfast, the yolk is not the place for you. But if you have time and want good food and a great time, this is the place to be. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and the cook may take a moment to shoot marshmallows or high powered water pistols at you. Two favorites are the stuffed croissant and the huevos rancheros. Generous portions and delicious. They have the best baked beans ever! (Sorry Gramma)

Took over a half hour to get our food, and they forgot about us.

I am so surprised people actually like this place. The food is mediocre at best and EXTREMELY overpriced. If you aren’t taking tiny marshmallows to the face you’re one of the lucky ones, I have had eggshells thrown on my table, real sanitary. The food comes out in ten minute intervals, so even a party of two can’t eat hot eggs at the same time. The wait staff is rude, good luck getting another cup of coffee. There is a reason every other breakfast joint in town is packed.

As her honorary boyfriend during my 2 months stationed in Connecticut, just have whatever she wants to make. It’ll be awesome.

The owner seems like a marvelously high spirited woman. The wait staff is not the greatest, and the food is mediocre at best. The French toast always tastes like something else from the grill, and my portabella asparagus salad was highly over seasoned. The best thing I got there was a turkey melt. The place is cozy and moderately enjoyable.

They have the best huevos rancheros I have ever had. The chef/owner was very willing to explain how they were made. The atmosphere was fun without being distracting. I plan on making the drive there again, not close for us but we’ll worth it.
