The service was very slow, and did not pay attention to our table at all. The food didn’t come out for about half hour to forty five minuets and there was only two of us seated. Also at the end of our meal we had a horrific experience! My friend ordered a omelette and after finishing and putting her napkin on top of one last bite she couldn’t finish, a lady who seemed in charge came over, took the napkin off of the food, called over a coworker and proceeded to bash on my friend for wasting that last bite. AND THEN she stabbed her fork into the last bite (which was loaded with only goat cheese) and plugged her nose, and shoved it into her mouth. We were mortified. I sat in horror watching my friend being force fed by someone she had never met before. My friend works in the restaurant business and that’s something you don’t do. You never put a hand on a costumer. We will never be returning to The Yolk.
