Disappointed. Decided to visit Lucia last weekend after reading great reviews. They seemed very nice at first and seated us on time (we had a group of 4). Well, it went down hill from there. Our waiter was overly serious and never cracked a smile. He would disappear for lengthy amounts of time and belive me its not a big place. A table of two next to us had their desert before we even had our dinners. It was obvious the food had been sitting since it was no longer hot but barely warm. We didn’t order desert since we had enough of our grumpy waiter. The food was just ok (I had the 3 pasta dish). We wont be going back.

Good, sauces very similar. Good basic Italian, homeade pasta, but most sauces very similar heavy cream sauce. Love the giardinera to begin. Go once or twice then move on.

Great Upscale Italian. The homemade pasta’s are terrific – the lasagna is thin layers of pasta stuffed with veggies or meat. Bolognese is a great choice – beef, pork and sausage. Orechette with broccoli rabe and sausage is great. The only downside is that there are few or no low cal choices. I tried the salmon – mediocre. Also the shrinp with canneloni beans has no taste at all. We had a special appetizer one night which was described as mussels with tomato sause and chorizo. It was really more like a spicy soup and an entree portion – it was delicious. Save your calories for this place…

Hands Down Best Restaurant In New Milford. Great tasting consistent fairly priced creative food. With an excellent atmosphere. and a well thought out wine list. They feature cool wines that you cannot find at every other place in town. Thank you Lucia!
