The atmosphere was casual and simple. The lower dining room with spacious and brightly lit. The the food was nicely plated and as good or better than anything I have had since dining at my German girlfriends house. A true delight.
Tender sauerbraten, beef bourgignone, delicious red cabbage, cucumber salad, potato pancakes. Everything was superb! You must try the fried sauerkraut balls… With homemade mustatd. Out of this world. We have never been here before but will def. be back. If you like German fare, this place rocks.
Excellent find. Simply the best restaurant in New Milford… friendly owners and staff, incredible food, clean and comfortable atmosphere. After dinner, check out the lower level bar, especially when there is live music on hand. I’ll definitely be back. The area has needed a place like this for a long time.
