This is one of my favorite places in Fairfield County. Menu changes SUPER often so there’s always something new to try and it’s always excellent. Pizzas are great too, and I think it’s the best brunch around.
Lunch. We had lunch today at Bar Sugo and have to say – was totally disappointed. The portion size were really small compared to the price. The waitress, though pleasant, brought the bread with our meal after we were way done with our full meal. And worst, the bread came out refrigerator cold. It was funny -she brought the bread and asked if she could take all our dishes out. She must have thought people eat bread like dessert….. Very middle of the road.
Not for us. The post by summer sums it up…the service is dismissive. I don’t care if the meatballs were good, the service was terrible and we were one of only two tables in the place! At times, we were the only table, yet both waitresses passed the table, leaving dirty dishes and empty water glasses. Not impressed with the food, either. Overly salty for my taste and my fiance and I eat out at fine establishments often. Gave this place a try, won’t be back. Disappointed.
Honestly the worst experience I’ve had in a very very long time. I’m one to eat out and enjoy good food that takes time however this place is a complete DRAG. Will sum it up as follows: If you love wine, don’t bother… Terrible selection, my husband had a pasta entree which tasted like wonton soup, I had bolognese which tastied like beeforoni and the service was incredibly slow and dismissive. This place needs a complete make over and a manager at the top of the house before I would ever think of going back. If you are making the trip down to Wall St go to Mikes or Fat Cat … You’re welcome.
Great pizza. They have various kinds of pizzas which is awesome. all the flavors that we have tried so far are great. we like to keep coming back to this place for their great food
