  This morning we were looking online for local breakfast restaurants and came across The Family Diner. After reading several recent reviews sharing that it was like a family there, it sounded like a great place to try. We were seated right away and it was a smaller type established just as was stated. The food was served rather quickly, was accurate and tasted good, no problems. I did, however, have a concern with the attention of the staff. The server was not friendly nor did she go out of her way to see that we were pleased. There were a few regulars who came in and the staff had basically an ongoing conversation with them for the rest of the time we were there, but not once did the server ask if our meals were good? Was there anything else that we needed? My drink was empty 1/3 of the way through my meal and I was not offered a refill at all… not once. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. Again, they were very interactive with the regulars, but, as we obviously were not regulars, we did not feel welcomed at all. Even when paying our check, the staff did not ask how the meal was, or say hi. We didn’t receive a smile from the staff during our entire visit… the food was good & the prices were fair, but Unfortunately, I was not impressed.

  Last of the old school Diner’s from decor to staffA must I don’t think prices have changed in 20 years
