My favorite restaurant in Norwalk. The pizza is amazing everytime and the service is laid back. You feel like you are hanging out at a friend’s house when you are at Fat Cat. Love this place.
Not impressed. On some friends rave reviews, my wife and I decided to give this place a try. We were not impressed to say the least. We ordered a eggplant pizza as well as, a sausage. We enjoy thin crust pizza but this was just ridiculous. Negatives: barely any sauce, barely any cheese, and some over cooked sausage. Basically, just a wafer thin cracker. My wife actually joked that her TMJ was acting up from it. Positives: If you’re on a diet the pie size will definitely work for you.
An acquired taste…. If you are one of those thick crusted, doughy, square pizza fans, then this is not the place for you. Their pizza is about the opposite, very thin with the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. Excellent varieties of wine and cheese.
Pizza is eh. I wasn’t too impressed with this place. We liked the atmosphere (except for the squawking toddler at one table who drew annoyed stares from everyone). The wine was actually great! The pizza, however, was just odd. I knew it would be thin but I’ve never had pizza this thin. it’s more like a cracker than pizza! The taste wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t very satisfying or filling. The service was good, but really the pizza just doesn’t make you want to come back. It felt more like an app than an entree even though we got a large size! Bottom line: great for wine and apps, look elsewhere for a relaxing and satisfying meal.
What a pleasant suprise. We almost didn’t go because of the poor reviews we read here. . The wine we ordered was sold out but we got something better. We LOVED the thin crust and natural locally grown tomatoes. Especially the tomatoes. This is a mist!
Utterly avoidable.. I was completely unimpressed with this pizza. It had a crust that tasted like something you’d get from dominos or pizza hut, and the toppings were sparse and overcooked.
