Great food/service. Tried most of the menu. Yeah, it was an indulgent weekend. Everything was fantastic, good sized portions, meat was succulent, bread and rolls were not an after thought. Did take out since there are so few seats, everything made it home well.
Best Breakfast & Coffee. Jax & Co. is my favorite breakfast and coffee spot in all of Fairfield County. They brew Stumptown Coffee (Portland’s # 1 rated coffee). They also sell Stumptown’s whole beans for those of you who like to brew at home. And, they sell Stumptown Stubbies (cold brew coffee). They have great tea (Harney & Sons). The breakfast and sandwich selection is far from the average deli around town. Where else can you get a Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Burrito stuffed with fried eggs, black refried beans, avocado, salsa, cotija cheese, and salt n pepper? Other favorites of mine are Chorizo Torta, The Harbor Tuna Melt, The Saraswati, and the Three Cheese Veggie Sandwich.
