I had high hopes. I really thought this was a no brainer good choice for a nice dinner, but everything was uneven – the food, the service, the prices. Some of what we ordered was excellent, some fair. Service was ok, but not good. Prices were too steep for what was delivered.
I wanted to like it but…. I so wanted to like this place. Great ambiance and good service beg to be rewarded. Thing is, the food was really mediocre (I had the gnocchi with b/meat sauce). I’m sorry but the food was not to the caliber of the rest of Wash Street and it’s horribly overpriced given it’s chef boyardee taste. I’ve had frozen supermarket pastas taste much better.n it’s a shame, as I feel the rest of the experience was quite positive. Work on improving the menu; I am ok with such a small limited choice IF the food is good.
