Food: 5/5; Service: 5/5; Ambiance: 4/5; Location: 4/5; Overall: 5/5 … I have many fond memories of dining at this place, back in 2011-2013 era, when I stayed in Norwalk, CT (USA). I was a working professional living & working in Norwalk, and me & my room-mate (who also worked in Connecticut), would often go to this place for dinners. This is by far, among the best Greek Food I’ve ever tasted. It’s brilliant top-notch stuff.Their Chicken Souvlaki Platter (with chicken skewers, pita, salad/veggies, yogurt-based-creamy-dip) is heavenly. That alone is worth the price of admission. You take that one item, and it’s quite filling in & off itself. And very satisfying. Or you can order in Gyro form, but I personally always used to go for the Platter: better in-terms of presentation & easier to sample/eat various things in your preferred order. A Gyro is a lot of things rolled into one, but then some like it that way. Whatever works. To each his own … Anyway, we would usually order a starter before having the platter – typically either Tzatziki (cucumber-garlic-yogurt) or Melitzanosalata (eggplant/brinjal-garlic spread) – which would be delicious in small portions. And to top it off, we would always make it a point to order a Tiramisu – which used to be absolutely heavenly. That stuff just melted in your mouth. The Tiramisu would be the perfect conclusion of a nice, satisfying evening … When I was leaving Norwalk in 2013, I remember having my very last meal there at Pontos, since I had grown a sentimental attachment to the place. And I absolutely loved their food. I was sad to leave Norwalk for a variety of reasons. But certainly, not being able to eat Pontos was right up in the list. I made sure to personally seek out the owners & chef & thank them for the Food/Experiences & Memories.
