Horrid Service. Service was horrible! It took almost an hour for our food to be served, and that was after waiting over 10 minutes just to get a menu. The food was good but not worth waiting that long far! On top of that, even though we were a table of two, they charged a mandatory 20% tip. We definitely will not be going back!

Poor service and rude… I found the service to be terrible. In fact, it was downright comical. At first, multiple waitresses greeted us, asking if we wanted a drink, and we continuously had to tell them we were already being taken care of.. It seemed like they did not understand English. The food was so so. My guests entree was good (not great) and mine was flavorless, although it looked good. Then, when I wanted them to tend to us, they disappeared. In the end they were rude to add insult to injury… Dont waste your money. Spend it elsewhere, where the food is good, and the people understand English.

Great place for a great dinner!. A couple of girlfriends took me there for my birthday – what a great surprise! The food was excellent, the ambiance was nice, and the service was great. For appetizers, we shared empanadas which were great, and the taquitos de mariscos (mini seafood tacos) were delicious! We each had something different for dinner. I had the skirt steak with fried rice and broccoli with garlic. The steak was tender and flavorful, and the rice was unique and full of veggies. The red wine sangria was perfect, and they even brought me flan with a candle for my birthday dessert! I’d definitely go back. The price was reasonable, too.

Great food and excellent service. Best pisco sour I’ve had since Lima. Will definitely return.

Best ceviche I’ve found in Connecticut. I love REAL ceviche made the way they make it in Peru and Central America, with big chuncks of fresh fish, plenty of lime, cilantro, onion and the bite of hot pepper. By these standards, most of what’s available in Connecticut falls way short — the chefs here seem to like to put sugar in it, for one thing, which makes it inedible as far as I’m concerned. I’ve even had some ceviche with cooked seafood in it — blasphemy! So I am thrilled to have Quechua now in SoNo — where they do ceviche right. Two of us made a meal recently out of the sampler that included 4 different varieties of fresh, delicious ceviche. The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Quechua is a great new addition to our culinary scene!Quechua was reviewed in the New York Times on March 23, 2010: http://events.nytimes.com/2010/03/28/nyregion/28dinect.html
