Wife’s fish and chips were excellent. Flaky, fresh caught local cod. Crispy fries. Ample portion. My shrimp and grits were delicious, but the portion was disappointing especially for $19.

Lunch. Nice place. Service was not as bad as reported. NE Clam Chowder had lots of clams, but was a tad watery. Lobster Roll sandwich had plenty of lobster, but a lot of mayo and the roll was a little too crusty, so I just ate the lobster. It was bit pricey and I would get something different if I go back.

Service is awful. Got crab cakes which were just fried bread and mayo. Bill was wrong and not in our favor. Used to be great so not sure what has happened.

Reservation=half hour wait+bad service; go elsewhere. The view is great, the food is passable, but the service disappoints. With a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table for a party of 3. Like the Seinfeld episode, they know how take a reservation but not keep a reservation. This was compounded by bad service. No apologies for the long wait, no round of drinks, no updates on the table. After being seated, it continued: no description of the specials, bread brought after appetizers and the main courses were served, no butter or oil…Avoid this place and go to Westport, Greenwich or even Stamford for water views, similar food and better service. l’escale in Greenwich is fantastic, for example.

Food was great. Unfortunately the service sucked and we won’t be returning. We ordered oyster shooters and they automatically charged us for the $10 instead of $3 version and we didn’t find out until our bill was delivered. They offered no excuses and made no apologies for not ever asking which ones we wanted. Then the waiter gave us a hard time because we didn’t print out our certificate and we wanted to use the electronic version through the app. After a bit of persistence I was able to forward the email certificate to the restaurant owner. Lame.

Super Seafood. A great spot for seafood on 5 mile river. our favorite is the tuna flat bread app. But really the chef has done an excellent job with the menu and specials.
