Outstanding. Stopped on our way New Jersey on business. The food was delicious. The waitress took the time to explain the dishes and help us to decide on our entrees. She makes the butter sauce from scratch every night and it was fabulous. The service was outstanding. Will visit again when in the area.

I travel the world and experienced Indian food many times. Saffron rules Fairfield County. The owner Pinky has a fabulous staff and great menu! Delivery too. Fabulous Lunch buffet as well!
Great food and service. New to Indian food and I admit hesitant, I now realize what I was missing!!! The food at Saffron is delicious and the service is exceptional. The staff at Saffon will go out of their way to make sure you have a very enjoyable experience and they appreciate your feedback. It is a relaxed atmosphere so you wont be rushed and will actually get the time to enjoy your meal. I strongly recommend this restaurant … I am now a regular customer!!
Delicious for Vegetarians and their Friends!. Great choice for dinner before going to the Bowtie Royal! I went with a friend for the lunch Buffet! It was varied, interesting and delicious! We were early and the container for the pakoras wasn’t filled yet. Much to our delight, as we were sitting and enjoying the other offerings, the owner brought us out freshly cooked pakoras before they went into the buffet! Piping hot and delicious! I’m a vegetarian so it was particularly nice that approximately two thirds of the choices were vegetable. As we sat there a whole group of people (who appeared to work together) came in on the advice of one member of the party who was coming for the second time that week!We’re bringing our husbands for dinner tonight before the movies!
I have been to Saffron 3 times since moving here in July. Each time, it has been a wonderful experience. The quality of the food is apparent; dishes are not prepared in bulk, in advance. The freshness is obvious, and the taste is outstanding. Last night, I had Lamb Rogan Josh and it was some of the best I’ve ever had (would have liked a little more lamb in the portion, but I left a happy man)! I really like the owners/managers, too. Very friendly people and they always have a warm greeting and have a sincere desire to make the experience positive for their customers. I will be back, and hope many others discover this gem.
Great Service & Food. I discovered Saffron Cuisine only recently and am SO glad I dropped by that day, because to my delight, this modest little restaurant is run by two of the nicest owners you’d ever meet, serving food from a chef who obviously understands fresh ingredients, just the right blend of seasoning and presentation. A novice to Indian cuisine, I arranged a dinner for friends where we sampled several appetizers and entrees, and now I can’t wait to get back for the huge samosas, the cooked-to-perfection pakoras and my new favorites: lamp chops and their haryali chicken kabobs! Pinky and Simi are gracious hosts and the waitstaff is attentive, but not overbearing. Prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. I highly recommend Saffron Cuisine for those who know and love Indian food, but especially for those who have never tried it! Simi and Pinky will create a wonderful experience and you’ll be sure to return.
