This was one of the worst brunch experiences I’ve ever had. First, what brunch spot doesn’t have mimosas?? Second (and I’m not one to complain about price, as long as I get what I’m paying for, but) this place is a waste of money. $14 for ONE pancake?? Literally one pancake. The egg white frittata (w/arugula and parm) was good, but could have used some seasoning. Drinks were overpriced, and the service was mediocre – the waitress told me to wave her down when we were ready. Why would I wave you down? That’s her responsibility as a waitress to gage when we’re ready. Not a good experience an our bunch ended up being around $90 – for BRUNCH that was okay and gave me half of a normal sized meal (for double the price).

Food truck Fridays. They often have Food Truck Fridays here. I went when they had Lobstercraft. As opposed to the other commenter, I’ve never had a bad experience.

God Awful Food and service.. Food is bad. Nothing appetizing. Nothing satisfying. Overpriced. Very tiny portions but the food was inedible so I guess it’s okay. No amount of atmosphere makes up for such a blatant rip off. Overpriced. Disorganized. Disorganized. Disorganized. The people have no idea how to run a restaurant. Why does it take almost 5 minutes for a cup of coffee? That’s not even great. They don’t know coffee at all. Our meals came out at different times. What a waste of money for a terrible experience. Never going back.

If you can afford to throw away your $ come here. This place is such a sham. I had to go to this place after boycotting it because our friends made plans to meet others here. Don’t go hungry – you’ll wait twice as long for your food than at any other good restaurant. The kitchen is disorganized worse than when it first opened. Don’t go if your on a budget – the food is WAY OVERPRICED. Don’t go hungry (again) – the portions are meager. And especially do not go if you’re looking for that special cup of coffee. My wife and I both agree that paying for a good cup of coffee is worth it IF, I mean IF, the beans are treated correctly. This owner has no clue how or when to grind beans. We know Gorilla coffee and it does not taste like her’s which is stale and putrid. She probably grinds them ahead of time and does not buy in small batches so what you are buying for $5.00 per tiny cup is stale coffee. WHAT A WASTE THIS PLACE IS OF TIME AND MONEY.

Sugar Surprise. I heard about Sugar & Olives from a friend and took my daughter there for brunch. I’m somewhat of a health nut and the food was right up my alley – everything on the menu seemed to include some sort of local vegetable and what wasn’t farm fresh from the area was at least organic. I ordered the grass fed beef burgers and they were served on chocolate breadies ! There was a special vegetarian chili made with farro and lime which I took to go which I want to recommend they make a permanent addition to the menu. The place is loungy and relaxed. The staff is personable and fun and even played a bit with my daughter on a kids stove they have in the front. There really is nothing like this in the area, it almost has a New York sort of feel to it. Can’t wait to go back for lunch or maybe try out one of their cooking classes.

Unique dining experience. I love going to Sugar and Olives because I never know what delicious meal I’m going to get! Jen and her team of culinary artists whip up fresh food straight from the market and deliver it to your table. Well, not exactly table, but comfortable couch in the lounge type atmosphere. I love going to Sugar and Olives and when I arrive I tell Jen to just make me whatever she wants, surprise me. I am always pleasantly surprised and will continue to visit Sugar and Olives!!

It’s all about green. Fresh off the farm is what you get at Sugar & Olives. The greens are the greenest and the Caesar salad dressing cannot be beat.I highly recommend Sugar & Olives for it’s healthy choices, it’s unique atmosphere and friendly service. Sugar & Olives is for those who actually appreciate what it means to eat the right way which includes dining in a leisurely, stress free way on moderate portions made from scratch with all natural ingredients.FYI…one of the best cookies I ever ate is the morning glory cookie. Love my Gorilla coffee with it.
