I chickened out. Yes, I went here because Valencia was closed. But when I got there, maybe about 7 pm, the place was empty and they were pushing the buffet. The buffet was just sad looking, had a variety of non-descript meats and a few sides, including black beans and rice, which I sampled and were fine, though unexceptional. So I passed. But the staff (who didnt seem to speak much English) was very surprised and appeared unprepared to actually cook anything off the menu. They were very nice about it, but I just got a bad vibe. So we ordered a couple very basic menu items, a burger for my daughter and I had a steak sandwich. The steak had been nicely marinated and was quite flavorful, if fatty and full of cartilage. So maybe I should give it a second chance. But when I see a buffet piled high and no one really cooking, it gives me pause.

Dissapointed. I ended up here because velencia was so packed and i was too hungry to wait for a table…big mistake…dont get me wrong the service was good and the staff was friendly but the food was mediocre to say the least, nothing on my plate tasted fresh. it almost seemed as if everything came straight out of the freezer and was quickly heated up, the worst part was that i am 99% sure my mashed potatoes came out of a box, Unreal!:(

The best little deal in town. Food is fresh and good…steak cooked to perfection…great salad/dressing, and fried yuca…yum yum…all for 12 buckeroos…fruit drinks are also winners…the staff is soooo nice, and so attractive, you want to ask them home and party on…go and see. watch out valencia
