Met my husband in Village Bagels!!!. I Met my husband in Village Bagels! It was New Years Eve 2011. I went for a bagel and coffee and a couple were eating lunch near me and I began to shmooze with them. The couple were just friends and the guy was awfully handsome. By the end of the meeting, I had flirted my way into this man’s life. It must have been something in the coffee. Lets just say, that I spent several days with this man, he was in from Canada. He got snowed in for an entire week and if it wasn’t for Village Bagels and the fact that they were open for business on New Years, I never would have met this gentleman. I am forever grateful. We both own t-shirts from the store and we proudly wore them hours before we changed for our wedding.
Don’t like the prices, don’t go. Hey, no one forces you to go to the restaurants and bagel shops. If it’s overpriced to you, then you don’t need to go. There’s plenty of other places that will serve you bagels and breakfast foods. Village Bagels does have, though, some pretty good bagels. Next time, maybe bring your own cream cheese and then you’ll have a good deal with a .95 bagel. omnomct.com
