Ill start by highlighting the owner, Rob – hes awesome! My wife recently became a citizen after going through a several-year process and this was her first American Fourth of July. We wanted to see the fireworks without the craziness of going to the beach so I called Washington Prime to ask for a reservation outside. They said yes, but I later received a call & voicemail from a staff member that the reservation was made in error because the outside couldnt be reserved. I called back expecting to cancel because the whole point was to watch the fireworks over dinner and Rob was super accommodating. He explained the reason for the policy and told me hed be happy to make the exception. Once we got there, he actually found a better table inside with a direct view to the fireworks! The dcor inside is very modern, and spacious. Fast forward to the food and drinks. DELICIOUS! We ordered a Moscow Mule and the Benelli. The mule was incredible, but Im a fan of ginger so Im a bit biased. The Benelli was a perfect summer drink and my wife enjoyed it.Were huge tapas fans so we chose to get a few small plates instead of ordering steak (which I fully intend to do the next time around). We ordered the flat bread special with prosciutto, goat cheese and lettuce? The prosciutto was plentiful and I think the goat cheese was fermented because it tasted like Drunken Goat (yummy). The tuna crudo was refreshing and light, but well portioned. The steak tartare was, as expected, remarkable. I wanted the whole plate to myself, but I wasnt the only one so we devoured it together. OK.. the octopus. The octopus was exceptionally delicious. It was fresh, well seasoned, and a great portion. The one down side is that we werent aware it was spicy (talk about fireworks). It was completely our fault because we mistook the peppers for tomatoes and forgot the menu described the side as peppers. The staff rushed us a cup of milk and the rest of the night went perfectly. We absolutely recommend Washington Prime and cant wait to go again!!!

Great Steaks! Will go Again!. My husband and I went to Washington Prime on the evening of (Sat.) 1/17/15. Our first time at this restaurant. We had reservations for 6:30 p.m. and were seated right away when we arrived. Convenient metered parking across the street. Coat check at front door entrance. We were placed at a small table for 2 (note for those looking for a romantic night together that the tables in this place are very close to other tables, almost like your are sitting with strangers, but not a problem). The decor had a nice feel. We were greeted right away with water at the table and then our waiter Galo came over to introduce himself. Very professional, personable and attentive, he checked on us regularly. We started off by ordering a bottle of Freemark Abbey Cabernet 2011 and when the wine arrived, at the same time they brought over a small basket of bread with a tasty herbed butter on the side.We ordered (2) small plates, the Slab Bacon and also the Calamari. Both very good! Our main entrees were the 8 oz. Filet Mignon, for my husband medium rear and for me medium well. I was surprised how right on the mark they were with my filet as sometimes ordering medium well you can get a steak that is dry as a rug. My filet was cooked to perfection and you have your choice of 6 different sauces, we both had the umami bomb sauce. We had sides of Triple Baked Potato and House Fries. We were too full for dessert. The bill came to about $250 (without tip).We had a great experience here and will definitely come back again!

I ordered my steak medium and it was cooked medium well to well done and was tough. For 42 dollars I expected it to be cooked correctly.
