  A FINE AND UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE. We decided to try the Seven Course Tasting Menu. This proved to be an outstanding decision. There were really a lot more than seven courses. They would bring each one of us different things. We had the option of eating it all or sharing. Even item was cooked to perfection; plated well; and served correctly. I cannot say too many good things about an outstanding dining experience.

  Nice for a special occasion. Over all the food was good, one of our group ordered a cola and it arrived flat and not tasty at all. One of my dining companions had put his hand under the table for some reason and felt gum under the table. I had the salad for an app and the pork duo as an entree, I thought both were good. Within the pork duo were some chestnut and ? ravioli that were very good. Did not have time for dessert as we had an 8pm show at the Playhouse so we missed that. Found out later on we should have been offered a pre-show menu but we were never offered that. I had a nice experience, saw a few things that needed some cleaning, especially a wall in the men’s room was dirty. A bit pricey but nice for a special occasion. Oh ya, park across the street in the church lot if you want to avoid the valet parking.

  We dined at Bernards in early September for my sisters birthday. The food and the service were absolutely stellar. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten in.

• The Secret Fork

  Try Sarah’s Wine Bar Upstairs. The menu is great, the atmosphere a little more casual and live music. A great place to have a great bite and unwind. Try a burger- phenomenal.
