Good but Pricey. Food was delicious, service was good and we loved the ambiance. However, it was waaay over priced for what we got. Unfortunately for them, there are plenty of other Italian restaurants in Stamford that are just as good, but more reasonably priced that we most likely won’t go back. It’s a shame….
Aria is horrible!. The management at Aria is absolutely horrible. We had a reservation for 4 people on a Friday night. When we showed up there was an office party just being seated in all but 3 of the tables of the restaurant. They actually had a microphone and were announcing all sorts of prizes, etc. Incredibly loud and distracting. The manager refused to tell us where we would be seated. We assumed there was another room. When he tried to seat us right next to the party we told him we were leaving and he threatened us with violence if we left. We ran straight to Napa and had a wonderful evening. Napa is the best restaurant in Stamford. Don’t even think about going to Aria. It will be out of business soon.
Very Nice. Good atmosphere, nice music, and overall great food. They were willing to be creative. Just ask Stefano what’s good and he’ll hook it up. I hardly ever eat lamb and got one of the lamb dishes that was very good. For my Dad, Stefano asked the chef to make this lamb wrapped up in something (i think dried fruits and other stuff) which was amazing. The filet mignon carpaccio was sliced to thin to really enjoy.
My Favorite CT Restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed the finest meal, and attentive service at Aria. The simple key to their stunningly good dishes are the very fresh ingredients. Of course you must try the scallops, risotto, and the veal chop is most delicious! Impeccable decor, and very nice bar area- creates a fun but romantic atmosphere. We will be making regular visits back to try everything else on their menu- but remember to try their tiramisu with the secret layer of chocolate chunks.. WOW!
Service was poor at best. Food was ok but I wouldn’t return or recommend Aria.
