We visited restaurant during Stamford Restaurant Week for lunch. Very nice decor, creates a feeling of been somewhere deep in the country. Nice selection of beer and drinks – and some of the drinks have very creative names such as Swamp Water or Trash Can Punch. Overall, all food was well prepared and tasty. I had loaded potato soup, which was creamy and comforting. Press’d Bourbon brisket sandwich was outstanding – great BBQ taste, perfectly cooked brisket. Side of fried Brussels sprouts was also very tasty. Burger was cooked very well, and it was a tasty. BBQ Grilled Chicken breast was a touch overcooked, but still quite good in the sandwich. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive.While there is choice of BBQ restaurants in Stamford, Brother Jimmy’s definitely stands on its own and deserves your attention.
