Really cool atmosphere. Tried colony for the first time today. The server suggested we order at least 2 pizzas for three of us. we ended up ordering 3 and had only one slice left. Pizzas are small and thin but tasty. The consistency of the pies are excellent. Try the hot oil for sure! Prices are fair but can escalate with toppings. ReallyGood pizza.
Well, I guess this is one of the pizzas which doesn’t bode well for the take out, so look at this review from exactly that perspective.Got 3 different pizzas for the take out. Hot oil was nicely spicy, just enough. Bacon and mushroom was very good and tasty. Cheese pizza also had a good flavor. But – the crust was almost rubbery. It is very thin – I get it, as intended – so it is almost feels like a flat bread – but it was just lacking the crunch, except for the very edge.I heard many people rave about Colony – but at least the take-out didn’t support this rave for me at all. I would happily drive to and wait in line for the Frank Pepe pizza at any time… talk-a-vino.com
