It was good. I ate here ten yrs ago! When I did it was good? They had some chicken and rice dish with french fries in it and a green sauce for like $10! Grade of B. Try it! Arriba! Fiesta!
Great intro to Peruvian food. I loved the Pollo Saltado at Fiesta Limena in Norwalk, so I brought my teenagers to Fiesta Cove to introduce them to my latest obsession. They really liked what they ordered: Milanese Pollo for my daughter (thin, thin, thin chicken filet batter dipped and sauteed, served with a deliciously dressed salad with sliced beets (!) and red onion and a huge amount of rice. The portions are huge so plan on taking some home. My son enjoyed the restaurants signature dish, Lomo Saltado, sauteed pepper stead served over homemade french fries (the potato originated in South America, after all) and with another huge mound of white rice. I tried the Peruvian version of fried rice with chicken, Chaufe Pollo, which wasn’t quite the transcendant experience I had with the Pollo Saltado, but it was okay nonetheless. Prices are reasonable, $10 to $12 for our entrees. With sodas the bill came to $40 for a good, homecooked meal. Oh, and the bread and creamy green dipping sauce (avocado and garlic?) that comes to the table while you’re waiting for your food? Straight-up crack. I have dreams about it.
