I had really high hopes for this place. I have had really good Peruvian food in Stamford. Sadly, the Polo Soltado was just bland. There was nothing wrong with it, nor was there anything to recomend it. It just was. I will probably give them another try. The service was quick and attentive.
I tried Lomo Asado and it was good. The dish is made of julienne flank steak, tomatoes, onions and cilantro served over French fries. It comes with a side of white rice. The bread with their yellow sauce is excellent.
Try the Lomo dish – Steak , tomatoes, fries, and onions served over white rice with yellow sauce on top. Portions are huge !
My ceviche smelled awful!! I tried it and had to spit it out. Mind you I am s. American and LOVE Peruvian food. If fish is fresh it should not smell bad…
Delicious!. The Lomo Saltado is excellent! The prices are great and the food is delicious. The service is generally good.
I’d recommend going to the one on Shippan Ave rather than Atlantic St. The sauce is much better!
