Stamford is full of small and lesser known places, which serve delicious honest food. This is more a deli than a restaurant ( however, a few tables are available), with great selection of take home pastas (including gluten-free), salads and lots of Italian specialties. But the sandwiches worth special attention. I would argue that there is no better chicken parm sandwich in Stamford – fresh delicious bread, chicken, cheese, sauce – perfect until the last tiny morsel. There are about 20 different sandwiches, hot and cold, available every day. If you are in a mood for a great simple Italian food, I would highly recommend this place. Prices are reasonable too ( huge chicken parm sandwich is $9). talk-a-vino.com
