  Food is good. Server messed up my sushi order ( I ordered king crab and she brought me soft shell crab, I’m new to sushi didn’t realize until the bill came and also she didn’t come back to check) also she forgot to ring in my fianc’s chicken for his salad, although when it finally came, it was fantastic. The trouble is bad service can really ruin a meal.

  Had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is ambient, the service was extremely courteous and the food was delightful. We ordered the miso soup and clam chowder, and we’re not disappointed! The applewood bacon was a savory touch to a classic New England style chowder. Chowder is difficult to live up to in the north east, but this again resturant brought their a game. We had the Las Vegas roll of sushi and found it to have a warm, satisfying taste that leaves you wanting more. We would reccomend the wedge salad to any foodie. Our server’s name was Taylor and he was very attentive to us and helped us to pick the perfect dish, even offering taste samples of sauces to ensure a great experience. We would come back again and reccomend it.

  Average food / Bad Service. After walking around Stamford Mall for a while my girlfriend and I decided to grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately, I decided to give Kona a try and not go to my normal Stamford sushi spot. The sushi was poorly wrapped and fell apart when you tried to pick it up. The portions were small for the price. The worst part was our server who would walk by quickly and in passing without stopping, ask if we needed anything, but before we could even answer was out of sight. I’m kind of curious as to where she was because it was not busy at all. I think I would come back just for the happy hour to give it a shot. Most definitely not for anything else.
